Democracy thrives on transparency, diversity of opinions and censorship-free information gathering.

Censorship-free information gathering is often no longer possible because nowadays information channels are deleted or canceled without notice or simply do not appear in search engines. Freelance media professionals are losing their users and the users, in turn, can no longer find their preferred channels. That's why in 2021 I came up with the idea of creating a platform or central contact point that would bring media professionals and their audience together permanently. You can also get the latest information and content, as well as information about events and much more, with just one click.

General rules for publishing linked content:

• only journalistic content
• only politically and socially critical content
• no mainstream opinions and channels; There are already enough platforms for that
• no gendering in titles or description texts (will be automatically removed)
• only channels supported by donations or self-financing
• no funding/subsidies or similar from the state, foundations, parties, NGOs or comparable structures
• Politicians are also allowed as long as they are vloggers and finance their appearance themselves or through donations
• no violation of third party rights
• no religious content
• no insults, threats or slander of any kind with criminal relevance
• no calls for violence

In principle, I try to contact all channel owners listed in Netpoint.

If you are the owner of a channel already listed in Netpoint and would like to edit the channel yourself, Register in Netpoint and send me the 'User GUID', which you can find on the login website, using the contact form.

Enter an email address with the @domain of your channel, or an email address that can be found on a website related to your channel or content. I will then contact you by email for confirmation and assign the channel entry to you in Netpoint.

If you do not want your channel to be listed in Netpoint, please contact me with an email address with your @domain from your channel, or with an email address that I can find on a website with connections to your channel or content.
I will then contact you by email for confirmation and immediately delete the channel entry in Netpoint.

The channels with their home platforms are listed here and where they can be found.

• The list is sorted according to the time the content was created.
• The word entered in the search field is searched for in the name of the channels and in the description text.
• Click on the channel's logo to only see its content and which platforms it can be found on. Jumps to the Contents menu.
• Double-click on a data set or the green box to see all of its content and which platforms it can be found on.
• Mark your favorites in the last column.

•    Click on the magnifying glass to filter the records according to your criteria.
•    Click on Delete to delete the criteria. With the second click, the country/language filters shown as default are also deleted.
•    A click on the diskette will save the country and/or language selection in the browser cookie as default. The next time you visit the website, only records with your preferred country and/or language will be displayed.
•    Clicking on the heart symbol/favorites will only list your favorites.
•    Clicking on the box in the far right column marks the channel as a favorite
•    A second click on the box in the far right column marks the channel for exclusion from the search or listing of content.

The latest content is listed here and which platforms it is available on.

• The list is sorted according to the time the content was created. The channels marked as exclusion are not displayed.
• The word entered in the search field will be searched for in the channel name and content description text.
• Click on the channel's logo to only see its content and which platforms it can be found on.

• Generally, programs marked in green are from the current day.
• Programs marked in light green are from the current day but have already been published.

Here you can enter your own channels and which platforms they can be found on.
Channels mean all sources with information content. So also websites without video content and others.

• Currently only the channels and their content from YouTube and Odysee are imported. More will follow.
• You can also enter your channels manually.
• Create one channel per language.

Automatic channel import:

• Enter the URL of your YouTube/Odysee channel under “Channel URL”. Copy the URL from the browser address.
  Example YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@MMnewsTV
  Example Odysee: https://odysee.com/@apolut:a
• After importing, check the contents!

• No URLs or words longer than 24 characters will be accepted in the channel name or description text.
• The description text will be cut off during import if it is longer than 400 characters. Please keep the texts as short as possible.

Edit channel manually:

If you only want to import certain videos with a certain text in the title, then use the "Import filter Filters (;)". For example, if you enter Grosz there, only videos that contain Grosz in the title will be imported. Separate words with ;

If you only want to import certain videos that appear in a specific YouTube playlist, enter the full title of the playlist in "Youtube playlist names (;)" a. Separate titles with ;

• The input fields marked in light red are mandatory.
• Channel name
  Your channel name or e.g. website
• Country
  where you are
• Language
  The language of your channel. If you have another channel/website in a different language, create another channel.
• Categories
  Select one or more categories that correspond to your channel. You can add missing categories in the category selection list. They will then be checked and released. If you regularly broadcast live, mark Live. These are listed under Menu Live when a live stream is active.
• Logo
  First save your logo to your local computer and then click "Browse"
• Channel description
  Also name your strongest or most well-known programs in the description text.
• Import Filters(;)
  Only content that contains the words specified in the filter in the title will be imported automatically. Separate words with ;
• Youtube Channel ID
  «Find own channel ID». Example: "UCvPGXnZmXrkPrdYKRZ0M1bg"
• Youtube playlist names (;)
  Only content that is specified in the specified YouTube playlist names (titles) will be automatically imported. Separate titles with ;
• Odysee channel ID
  Example @apolut#a. You can find the ID in Odysse under "About" > URL of your channel.
  

Double-click a channel to edit its home platforms.

Tab: Home platforms

• The home platforms of your channel are specified here (e.g. your homepage, Odysee, YouTube, etc.).
• When importing from YouTube, for example, the platform 'Youtube' is automatically created with list sorting 2.
• Sorting 1 is reserved for your homepage.
• You can add missing platforms to the platform selection list. These will be checked by me.

Netpoint's data model is structured as follows:

Channel > its platforms	mandatory so that a channel is found
Channel > its content > its platforms	optional

Here you can specify your content and assign it to the channels and on which platforms they can be found.

No videos are imported, only links to the respective portals.

Select a channel (data record).
Click the 'Contents' tab or double-click the record to specify its contents.

The rules for permitted content can be found under Help > 'General information'.

• Click on automatic import. If a YouTube or Odysee Channel ID is available, the content will be imported or linked.
• The first import may take a little longer. After that, only newly added videos will be imported, or those from the date in the date field.
• A content is automatically created with the associated video linked to it.
• If videos from YouTube and Odysee have the same title, they will be merged with the same content.
• Remove the content from the list that does not comply with Netpoint's rules using the 'Deactivate' button.

• Only videos from the past 180 days and a maximum of 100 videos will be imported.
  Older videos (> 180 days) or excess videos (> 100) are regularly deleted from the database.
• Exceptions:
  Certain channels and their contributions that contain contributions that will go down in history (such as the Corona Committee or the ICIC etc.) will not be deleted. You can contact me for a non-deletion request.
• No upcoming live broadcasts will be imported automatically.

Select a piece of content (data record).
Click the Platforms tab or double-click the dataset to specify its platforms.

Content platforms
If content (e.g. video) is hosted multiple times, you can specify and link to the relevant platforms here.
Always name the video titles the same for all platforms so that the links to the platforms can be assigned to the same content during automatic import.
